Twentieth Anniversary of the Baltic Way

Upon the resolution ”On the Twentieth Anniversary of the Baltic Way” adopted by the Assembly of Baltic States in December 2008, as well as a decision of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, 2009 was announced the Year of the Twentieth Anniversary of the Baltic Way.

In commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the events of 23 August 1989, the Lithuanian National UNESCO Commision presented to the public a new website dedicated to the Baltic Way.
