Today, on April 22, ahead of the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis spoke about the U.S. support, the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East and Sudan.

“I am sure that today we will have a conversation and a lot of happiness about the U.S. decision that has been made. And indeed, at this point, I can say that we have dodged a historic bullet. Unfortunately, many more bullets are on the way. Therefore, we can be joyous for a day. Still, we have to be prepared for the battle that is coming tomorrow; therefore, there can be no calming down or stopping assistance. We have to continue to speak about how we will continue to assist Ukraine further,” Landsbergis said.

“Many allies will now be relieved that the good news is coming from the United States. But it cannot stop us from doing what we must,” Lithuania’s Foreign Minister noted.
