Fifteen Lithuanian companies presented for the first time at the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition
Fifteen representatives of the Lithuania's food and beverage industry were presented at the national stand during the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE) in the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is taking place for the first time on 6-8 December at the initiative of the Embassy of Lithuania.
"We are excited to showcase not only the best of the Lithuanian food and beverage industry, but also Lithuania's export potential to our partners in the UAE," said Lithuanian Ambassador to the UAE Ramūnas Davidonis. "There are many opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, and participation in such international exhibitions helps to introduce Lithuania to the UAE public."
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Ambassador Davidonis and Agriculture and Commerce Attaché Šarūnė Šablevičienė met with Dr. Khadija Ali Al Amiri, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber. During the meeting, they discussed the potential of the Lithuanian food and beverage industry and opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade between Lithuanian and UAE companies.
